All Alone?

According to my new site meter, absolutely no one ever visits this site.

According to my "profile view," quite a few people have.

I don't get it.

I wonder if people who have been here before get counted again...perhaps all the meter counts is new visitors?
Of course, I really don't know! :)

Site Reader only counts people who get to your blog's opening page. It doesn't pick up profile reads.

The people reading your profile are probably clicking to it from the National Review site. They probably read your profile and then decide they don't want to read your blog. Therefore Site Reader doesn't pick them up.

Easy!

We all look at your profile, are transfixed, and never read your blog.

I mean, DUH.

I'm here. Maybe one has to read comments or post or something to get recorded.

I never could make the counter even work the few times I attempted to set up a web page.

I think the meter only counts new visitors. I'm here again. Although I only started looking earlier this week when someone forwarded me your link. No doubt due to the National Review.

have you made sure that site meter is counting ALL your pages & not just your first (oldest) page? (if you'd like to know how to do that just leave a comment at my blog & i'll get it.)

Sue... We didn't want it to be this way but now we need to send this before we change our mind. All these comments, under all these names, are all from us. We keep coming into the same computer trying to make us feel better... more popular. We're sorry. But we need help. I hope when I read this I'm in peaceful frame of mind.
